Bash

This kept Bear occupied for a good twenty minutes, bashing the tin with the bottle opener. Evidently very satisfying. He was also sat with Sam at the time, he seems to have really started making friends with adults now (only certain ones though: basically if Bean says they're alright Bear trusts his judgment!) and it make me happy that he likes Sam and Ruth so much :)

Swimming for Bean this morning. Who only went and got Star of the Week - for swimming, by his own choice, a full 10m with no floats or assistance!!!!!! He must have been practising in his sleep or something!

Shopping for Bear and I, running errands while we could; and then off out for a barbecue with church which the boys loved because they could play with their friends and Steve enjoyed because he wasn't doing the cooking and he got to play some volleyball too and I enjoyed it too because the boys are at happy stages where I don't need to watch them every second, so I could actually relax a bit!

Home afterwards, where Sam and Ruth joined us for a beer and a natter in the sun in the garden, then Steve cooked sausages for tea and Bear fell asleep and missed out completely!
