Easter experience

A full day of schools work. The CE school were all in church in the morning for their Easter play and then I had the community school in church in the afternoon for an Easter journey experience. AS usual, we ended up on the field behind the church. 

As we were waiting for others to arrive, one little girl looked at the empty cross and then asked me where the nails were. "They held Jesus on the cross" she said. I said that when we'd made the cross we decided not to put nails in it. "Oh, it's just a pretend cross then" she said!
