a summer evening dinner on the deck

Had a busy day today that involved a trip to a clothes store. I find such expeditions completely exhausting and energy sapping. Today seemed to be an exception: got royal parking right in front of the shop, had good service, an excellent choice of things that i liked and that fitted me and got $100 off with a voucher: A very good experience.

The day was capped of by a dinner on the deck: homemade burgers, couscous and salad. David and I were the only ones drinking and savoured our G&Ts and white wine. We watched the robins feeding their young and Lulu being a self absorbed cat.

The evening ended with Mike demonstrating the Parrot remote controlled drone's capabilities: fantastic yet sinister.
