Tonight's Sunset

The view from our son, Ron's, inlaws beach house is amazing; I love the sunsets from their upstairs deck. We are fortunate that they are close to us at Rockaway Beach. We had a nice visit with Ron and his family tonight. 

Ellie and her friends had time for wave jumping in the shallow cold ocean water. They came home and changed their wet clothes before they walked to the park at noon for a community Easter Egg hunt; they returned with baskets full of chocolate eggs! Lunch was quick so the families could join the scavenger hunt at the local stores around the small downtown area. Ellie enjoyed showing the International Police Museum we visited on Thursday; they returned in time for both families to leave for home by 4 PM. Ellie was unhappy about leaving; she had a little meltdown as she was seatbelted in the car, I was sad that her Grandpa had to leave with her so upset. :-((   So, now my husband and I are here alone...it is kind of nice.
