A gesture of peace

Yesterday morning a heard an odd sound in the front room.

When I took a look I saw a tiny mouse rolling a chocolate mini egg across the floorboards and not a crack by the fireplace.

As many of you know I am fond of a small rodent. However the thought of it being breeding season and murine Netflix and chill happening under my floorboards made me lay some humane traps.

This morning the traps were empty but the mouse had returned the half eaten chocolate egg. Baffling behaviour, but quite charming :-)
