A Spot of Colour on a Damp, Gloomy, Sunday
Did a longer-than-usual run this morning with a cold easterly wind and light drizzle making it less enjoyable than it should have been. Didn't think about Blipping until late afternoon, but at least by then the wind had dropped a little. Had an idea about an abstract with the leaves of the cardoon and also tried some dried, twisted remains of some of last year's roses but wasn't too impressed with the result of either - both need better light & the rose needs focus stacking to bring out both the shape and the texture - so it was back to my flowering currant, looking good in the gloom. The Amelanchier supplied the lighter background areas.
