Happy Easter! We woke up to lovely sunny morning and it stayed sunny and spring-like all day. My mum and I went to the Easter service at my mum's church this morning, then in the afternoon my older brother and his wife came over.

As it was such a lovely day we wanted to get outside for a bit so did the short drive to Twechar and walked up to Bar Hill Roman fort. There's a fantastic view from there and today the hills of Arran were just visible. Main blip is looking along the ditch of the Antonine Wall, just below the Iron Age fort next to the Roman fort at Bar Hill.

After all the we headed back to my mum's for a cup of tea and later a lovely Easter dinner.
