British Summer Time, and despite the loss of an hour I still woke up just before 6 am. Today though it was still before sunrise so I headed out in the hope of something interesting to photograph.
I ended up at Chasewater Reservoir. The sun remained stubbornly behind some low cloud on the horizon so I took the telephoto zoom out for a walk. I've never seen great crested grebes displaying before and although they were some distance away, I still wanted to record it as a reminder for today. Ideally I needed something like a 1200mm lens to be close enough.
A quiet day, with a small amount of time in the garden before taking L's mother out for an Easter Sunday meal.
