Easter walk

We met our friends for a local walk today over the Alne hills and through areas of the steadily maturing Forest of Arden. There was a lot of slipping and sliding over the sticky clayey mud. We called in at the Kings Head for a pint then home and a simple supper together  this evening.
We sat on some fallen logs to eat our picnic lunch. And these two friendly riders passed by. We had  a good moan about the amount of mud everywhere!
Pershore weather  station which is not far away reports approximately two and a half times the normal March rainfall this year.
