Golden poplars …..

….. ….. ….. towering over the Shotover River.

Missy & I walked along the Lower Shotover Track this morning, with Missy having a couple of stressful canine encounters and me enjoying Autumn’s fiery colours. The first of Missy’s meetings was I think, an accident brought on by her over-enthusiasm and the other dog’s excitement. The 2nd was a bit more of a standoff with the other dog ferociously defending its territory and Missy wanting to be friends. Dogs!

My daughter and Auckland granddaughter M. visited this afternoon; so lovely to see them both, and looking well too. They’ve both had the flu; not to be recommended by the sound of it. M. leaves to go back to Auckland tomorrow - it hasn’t been a great Easter break for her!
