Still going

Up early. Aurora show over Eyrarbakki. Off to the airport and a long wait as the group's flight was before mine. Boarded easy enough with a bit of a delay and good view of the Sundhnukagigar eruption on Reykjanes peninsula and then out over Heimaey which was a bonus. Could see the town and harbour that was affected by the 1973 Eldfell eruption. Longer flight back. Picked up food and then a shuttle bus back to the parking, and a 2 hour drive home. Stopped off at local convenience store with friendly owner for a chat, and then home for an evening of unpacking and catching up with all family and cooking a Sunday dinner. Hoping for a good night's sleep.
