A moment in time.  Almost 710 years ago two guys had a bit of a disagreement on a hillside outside Stirling.  Robert and Edward brought a few thousand of their pals along and had a bit of a fight.  Robert and his pals eventually won the fight and Edward ended up running home.

A learned a lot on our little walk around the grounds of the Bannockburn visitor centre.  A very interesting place with some great views, think that's why Robert chose the spot.  Looking in the other direction you can see the castle at Stirling which was the cause of the battle.  See extra.
