Again with the Lions!

I just can't help myself - there is something so compelling about seeing lions going about their business.  These two lionesses are sisters and are always together. The affection between them is very clear and I feel so privileged to have been able to witness it.  You'll see that Hilly has also blipped the lionesses - they are pretty irresistible.  And last night in the overnight hide, Osuzanna and Wrperry photographed two older females and two males - very exciting!

After our morning game drive, we got back to the hotel, had breakfast and then had a few hours to relax, download images, shower, etc.  Mid afternoon we were back at the Lagoon hide where we saw some great wading birds and several small crocodiles.  Tomorrow morning we are off to the scavenger hide where we hope to see vultures, jackals and maybe hyenas if we are lucky.  The days are flying by and it will be time to leave all too soon.  

Dessert tonight in the lodge was a fabulous chocolate tart with homemade ice cream.
