Tulips

Today has been one of  some sunshine, but also very heavy rain showers.
 I visited my Mum and we took a walk in the care home  garden, where we spotted these lovely tulips. Unfortunately, the  blossom on their fine collection of ornamental cherry trees has not been nearly as spectacular as it was last year, due to the recent  wet and  windy weather. However the  scented Daphnes and Skimmias are flowering well.
