Nightlife in the Pond

Struggling for a blip tonight and even debated not bothering. Asked myself why it matters if I miss a day and I don't know why but I set myself a challenge not to miss a day. I know one day I will, but just not yet!

Was summonsed to the garage tonight to hold some bits of wood on the canoe in place whilst Mike drilled them. He has booked a half day tomorrow as he is 'behind schedule'. It won't be the same if we have to hire a canoe for our big adventure but I haven't seen much of him lately as he is always in the garage! I snapped this on the way back to the house - amazed by how many wee creatures there are in the pond. If you look closely I think there is a newt near to the bottom of the pic. The fish hid away after the first flash, but I didn't get so many snails on the first pic I took. I bet they all thought morning had come early.
