We abandoned the attempt to cross to the other side due to a tailback of traffic on the Queensferry crossing and the increasingly grey and wet weather and detoured down to North Queensferry for a bacon roll and a fruit scone in Rankins Cafe instead. Afterwards Mrs Rex sat in the car while I looked for something to photograph and the Wee Lighthouse was as good as it was going to get this afternoon.
