dog shop
We were up early to take Luke and Otter into town for the Edinburgh bus (see extra for us waving goodbye). Then we had 3 hours to spare before Chris and Sarah’s train.
We did a walk over the bridges, up along the Nith and through Dock Park. The cherry trees are just coming into blossom and the park will look so pretty in a few weeks’ time.
Then we visited the Canine Rescue charity shop (aka the “Dog Shop”). Merry was offered a biscuit but she was more interested in having a nap on the dog beds and being made a fuss of by the ladies who run the shop.
Finally we went for coffee and hot cross buns in the Station Cafe where the owner, Daniel, remembered Merry and Sarah from our last visit.
It was sad to wave goodbye to them all, but I’m not too sad this time because we will be meeting up again in 10 days’ time. Jess is definitely missing all her doggy friends, though :-(
