Romantic Symbol of Love!

16.00  -  7°C  -  11 mph ENE Wind Speed  -  18 mph Gusts  -  Overcast.  A reading day!  I've blipped one of my favourite little books - it measures 2" x 2½" x ½" with 128 pages and is full of romantic stories of roses through the ages.  One I like states "A Rose without any scent is only half a Rose".  I also learnt that the biggest Rose bush in the world is in Tombstone, Arizona  -  it is over two hundred years old and when in full bloom has over two hundred white blooms.  I took lots of shots of the book  -  I chose the main one which was taken by torchlight because for me it spellt out some of the mysteriousness of the Rose  -  the extra was taken with flash.
