Chance

Our beloved dog Chance is growing older for sure...we think he must be about 14 or 15 - we got him from friends when he was about 8 they think!!!  anyway, he is still so energetic a lot of the time, loves to spend most of his time outside like this, sleeping in the sun!  His hearing is almost none existent....so now when i walk up close to him he often doesn't move...before he would have heard me approaching, even if he was asleep.  He also gets a bit confused and wants to come in the back door (his usual entry place!) then once inside stands at the front door asking to be let out.....we are just happily going with the flow of an elderly dog.  But i have to say when we go for a walk he still runs like crazy :)  We are treasuring every day we have with him cos who knows how long we still have.

Off to Sydney this afternoon!
