Madagascan Lemurs at Whipsnade
With our annual membership we can visit Whipsnade as often as we like. Every time we go we see some new behaviour, different animals being active or learn something. Today we learned that lemurs have two tongues. The second is a tough sub-lingual tongue that they use to clean the inside of their grooming teeth. They groom each other a lot so this is a useful adaptation. Amazing!
