Dentist this morning.

Went to Lauriston Castle grounds for a walk. Picked up a coffee & cake from Mimi's & found a sheltered bit in the rain to sit for a wee while in Peace Garden.

That smirry misty rain that sticks to you.

The cherry buds were dripping but think will blossom within a week or so.

The grounds has Bird ID orienteering for Easter holidays - map of where these signboards are then at the sign a bird & description of bird that can be seen locally.

How good is that? I did a bit of orienteering with my brother who used to take school kids in minibus up Balerno way, a long time ago now. Learning map reading & now birds.

I spotted a few signboards when walking round. Doesn't matter the weather either!
