Blossom at the Doc’s
Had an hour to myself this morning so... went for a blood test! Should get results back by end of week and if all clear, can then take out travel insurance. While out, printed my boarding passes at the library; hope I haven’t tempted fate...
This afternoon the gas engineer was back and admitted he hadn’t fixed the problem properly on Friday. All sorted now, touch wood! Before the rain arrived and it turned chilly, managed an hour in the garden hacking back an overgrown shrub and a half-dead giant Hebe.
In other news, a Sparrowhawk temporarily knocked itself out by flying smack into the kitchen window, after devouring a poor little Collared Dove, the remains of which are still at the bottom of the garden. And now there’s a solitary lonely Collared Dove sitting in the tree, looking left, right and centre for its partner. Nature can be very cruel...
Thank you for your kind stars for yesterday’s colourful Tulip.
