All gone

Back to work as normal, and we're working hard to pick up all the issues coming out of user acceptance testing and getting the system stable for a go-live in January. A January go-live is going to be hard to meet, but it's far more reasonable that the original August go-live. As this is a back-blip I can confirm that though there were some bumps on the way, we did indeed go-live in January as planned and as I write we're now in the middle of the next phase.

Today's back blip is a large conker tree that I walk past while walking the dog and I can't help but take a picture of it. This autumn picture shows it without any leaves, and it's still quite a majestic individual.
