Ted with the Pansies!

After swimming this morning the rest of the morning was spent cleaning the house.
Not a very exiting day today but we had to go out this afternoon to get a bit of shopping.

I was walking through town and saw my cousin Barry who I haven't seen for over 30 years. Amazing! As young children we used to see him nearly every week but when our mother and dad split up we moved away so we didn't see him much. He was always naughty at school and got sent down into our class for a while. When he left school his headmaster put on his report that he wouldn't make anything of himself.
He joined the Merchant Navy and has never looked back. Besides still being in the Navy he lectures in Marine Engineering at Manchester University and at Jodrell Bank. Brian Cox was one of his students.
Some people have to leave school to get on and he is one of them. I didn't know all the things he has been doing but we have been in touch through face-book for the last couple of years. We said we will meet up again soon when my sister comes back off another of her cruises. ( She is in Norway at the moment).

Ted was pleased to meet him.
