What's the crop?

Driving into town yesterday I saw this field..not sure what it is meant to be. Perhaps a poor Rape field or was it sown as a wheat field?.. Either way the poppies have taken advantage and are making the field look stunning.. it is yellow and red in alternate stripes.. with another white flower in drifts.. utterly wonderful!!

Off to watch Murray playing at Wimbledon now.. (on TV) do hope he can beat Youzhny to get into the Quarter finals.
