It's All About, Light

This one I couldn't control but I'm learning - a full camera battery might have helped.

If anyone knows how to use one of these flashes please feel free to drop a link or some advice below. I have two (on loan) and I can't seem to get them to go off every time on the automatic setting (wireless, trggered by the on-camera flash). Sometime one works then the other, then neither.
