Playing the long game

Sam's home for a couple of days!  It's lovely to see him and he was delighted to meet the ducks Crispy and Pancake.

Leia is pretty chilled about the ducks.  We are all enjoying them being in the garden and are pretty sure that the female is scouting out nesting sites, though we aren't counting our ducklings...

Leia currently gives them a wide berth (can you see her through the window?), preferring to observe from the warmth of the house.
