My Day

I’ve been ‘off’ for a couple of weeks, culminating in today. I really don’t like this zero, and feel that there’s nothing to celebrate. Couple that with, if B was here, we would definitely have been celebrating, whether I liked it or not! We would probably have gone away for a few days, it is school holidays after all, and we had a great week in Norfolk over his last zero birthday?
So I decided to work from home, be quiet, and yes on occasions throughout the day,  very sad. I took a half hour away from the pc and went to the local deli for some cake, and on the way back went to the front and sat on B’s bench for a short while. It was very windy! 
I received cards, flowers, gifts etc and I opened the Prosecco this evening to go with my slice of cake. 
Onwards and upwards as they say!
