2024 Tuesday — On the Upper Patio
The first Monday in April has felt like summer. For all the people on Spring Break I am sure this weather has been a surprise and a delight.
We walked up the ramp about 5:05 p.m. to our fire pit patio. We did not light the fire pit, but we did open the umbrella to block the bright afternoon sun. There was absolutely no breeze, so the air was warm because of the direct sunlight on us.
We started a stick of incense; the fragrance was sweet, savory, and enjoyable. I do not like incense in the house, but I love it in the gardens, the patio, anywhere in the yard. I love candles, but I don’t burn them in the house, except occasionally during our evening meal. I have found in the past that candles and incense, both, cause our windows to be dirty (and the walls also). So the incense outdoors is a treat.
This has been a quiet lovely day after yesterday’s roadtrip.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
