Panama Hats
We spent the day at Casco Viejo, the old quarter of Panama City. Lots of atmosphere in the streets and squares. And it was hot and sunny!
For centuries the Guna (previously known as Kuna) indigenous people have been creating colourful embroidered clothing. A mola (meaning a shirt in their language) is a piece of traditional dress typically worn by women. We learned more about this in the Mola Museum which opened in 2017 and later saw women selling their produce.
