I always thought a dahlia was a dahlia, but this morning at our Hort. Society meeting learned there are anemone d's, collerette d's, orchid d's, cactus d's, and no doubt more. Revelation! So here's a pic of what I think is a collerette d. with a smaller orchid d. below...at least I think that's what they are!
