Feeling blue?

A rather flat day after the busyness and drama of the weekend.

Ben went off on a week long Wind band Tour to Tuscany with the school, so we are a child down again, which I always find a bit unsettling. Their itinerary looks great with lots of sightseeing and fun and a little bit of performing.

I don't know why Jess looks fed up - perhaps she is beginning to realise that she can't actually catch the shadows of birds that fly over the garden - although it doesn't stop her trying.

I think she finds it much less stressful to be indoors where she doesn't have to be on high alert for the shadowy trespassers...
