Snoozing

It was lovely and sunny first thing this morning, so I took myself up to Mugdock for a walk. Beautiful blue skies and lots of birdsong high up in the trees. Also great to hear three woodpeckers competing in a drumming contest! Not many birds to photograph though, a pair of swans and a pair of snoozing mallards on the loch was all I saw. I’ve gone with the mallards for my blip, Mrs Mallard is particularly beautiful I think,  Mr Mallard looks quite angry!
