The cost of living

Pictured in Jo the Juice in Guildford where I was drinking a vastly overpriced mixture of healthy stuff. Presumably you can put these on to help you calm down after the shock of realising that four pieces of fruit in a blender has set you back nine quid. Don’t get me wrong it was very nice. Just expensive. 

Frustrating day with the car in the garage for a diagnostic that highlighted the need for an expensive (£300) upgrade, without which it will not be able to use public fast chargers. Bit like buying a traditional car and being told you have to pay extra for an adaptation that will allow you to put petrol in it.

Also had an aggressive cold call from Virgin Media trying to sell us an ‘improved’ package full of digital products we don’t want on the grounds that they were going to put prices up anyway. 

Anyway, more progress on the garage / garden and a few steps in so not all bad / annoying. Just need a sustained period of dry weather …
