lucky me

I went out for lunch. Not as grand as it sounds - just a takeaway buffalo burger to eat by the sea.

Well, pretty grand maybe.

Afterwards I walked to the end of the east pier and enjoyed all the "harbour in July" sensations for a few minutes.

It reminded me of how different my working life is to that of most people. Of course luck played its part in getting to this point, but hard work and determination were important too.
