Dry and calm

That was our ferry crossing. Lovely morning and off site early for a drive the scenic route to the ferry. Picked up shopping on way. Brodick Castle and gardens were lovely, and still no rain.
Arrived on site and shown pitch, behind the bins with views of the car park, not happy so went back and asked for another pitch. The grumpy man said nothing available,m then when filling the water the lady came out and said they had just had a cancellation so could move us. We have a brilliant pitch at the front of the site looking out to see and Ailsa Craig. Took Hetty onto the beach for a stroll after dinner and a seal came to say hello.
Told that a storm is expected so we might be doing a lot of reading.
