STONE FENCE

Stone fence...Lannon stone flats plus local rocks every few meters.  Encircles an entire property with a very attractive area for guests to sit, barbecue and watch the local swamp for ducks and geese.  Also a great place to experience the "mosquito effect" in the mid summer.  The local skeeters are not big but they're all mouth.  Rumor has it that they work part-time for the Red Cross. This time of year....not a problem!

Stone Fence also happens to be the name of my favorite adult beverage. All you need is Rye Whiskey and fresh-pressed apple cider. FRESHLY-PRESSED...not that clear, homogenized crud with a shelf life of 20 years that you find in the grocery store or juice boxes.  Combine the two ingredients to taste.  But be careful...that sweet cider can sneak up on you and make you think it's an innocuous drink.  It isn't and it can lay you low rather quickly if you aren't paying attention.
