Easter tableau

A visit to Holy Cross, Bearsted where Doreen’s funeral is taking place to discuss arrangements for the celebratory tea after the service. We’ve decided to have tea in the church rather than have to drive elsewhere. It’s a beautiful location to hold the event (extra)

The Easter tableau in the church attracted my attention. I’ve not seen one like this before. Very moving.

More work on arrangements this afternoon. I was able to go for a run and later attend a committee meeting of the Bearsted and Thurnham Society for which I’m membership secretary.
