The Spoils of Poynton

Went for a meal at the Poynton Wetherspoons. Delighted to see my blip friend Eunice M in there with Norm as well, so we had a good chat.
There was a small display in there featuring items of local history. Pickfords Removals originated in Poynton. Baxter, Woodhouse, and Taylor made specialist suits. My mother worked there and I wrote a poem about it. The Spoils of Poynton by Henry James is not connected with the village in any way (extra).
I wonder if they have a copy of The Catcher in the Rye in the Rye Wetherspoons,  if there is one.
