Dutch tales

Reading

It was a lazy day, I spent most of my day reading. I went through a stack of magazines I borrowed from the library. Just some garden, home deco and women's magazines.

When I was done I picked up the book that had been left alone for too long and it needed to be finished. It was given to me by the publisher, provided I would write a review on it's contents. It was gripping enough to continue reading until the last page.

If you like suspense, I can really recommend this one! It starts out a bit slow, with a lot of family issues about mothers and daughters, two different story lines both with family issues. Both story lines get together on a small isolated island.... At a third of the book the suspense slowly starts to build up, very well done!

I read the Dutch translation, the original title is Heartbroken (by Lisa Unger).
