Heat wave

I'm LOVING the courtyard in my apartment building.

The entrance to it is directly across from our place. This makes the transportation of food, friends and entertainment to the outdoors very easy. This morning, I grabbed my granola, sunglasses and laptop and ate brunch in the glorious sun while listening to the new Vinyl Café podcast. Heaven.

After lounging about all morning, mum and I attempted to and succeeded at swimming twice around the lake and then running around it. It makes me very happy to be able to do things like this with her.

Then off to an early Canada day celebration at Miss Mann's. By the time I'd gotten off the bus and walked to her house, I already felt severely sun drunk.
