Mallard

Our guests leave this afternoon, so there’s a chance for a short walk in the morning sunshine- so welcome after yesterday’s rain. Then it’s back for a second roast dinner of the week - sustenance before their train journey back to London. 

It’s been a lovely few days - especially as it so nearly didn’t happen. Now we’re just crossing our fingers that neither of us succumbs to the dreaded lurgy! 

Today’s blip’s another mallard - not a ‘manky’ one this time - caught in the morning  sunlight, his colours reflected in the water.
