Favorite Manner

I took the girls in for their annual physicals this morning. They both needed booster shots and handled it like champ. Nina had to give a blood sample and was terrified. I tried to calm her down by having her visualize us eating at her favorite lunch spot with limited success. The nurse who was taking her blood had an almost hypnotic bedside manner and calmed her right down. I’m very grateful for her.
