Fanny Ferkin II

Well here she is in all her glory…the Avro Lancaster BII, my finished model. I trust that Blip will not flag this entry because of her name!

The model is based on a real aircraft..which survived hostilities of WW2. It flew its last mission in September 1944 and was scrapped in March 1945.

This variant of the Lancaster was superseded by the more famous BIIIs with the Merlin Engines.
