Waiting for the train!

You would have a long wait, the train last stopped at this platform in January 1950!  This is, or was, Neill's Hill railway station, where I grew up as a child.  Local railway enthusiasts uncovered this platform from brambles and bushes a fews years ago.  From the extra image you can see that even bits to the old original paling fence survived, the gap is where there was a pathway leading to Sandhill Gardens.  The station buildings are long gone.  The track bed is now a recreational walkway.
