Further Experiments 3

Early rain, then the wind got up - outdoor photography didn't attract so tried messing about with the bits of material I snipped from the rose a couple of days ago. "Messing about" sums up the activity - getting the angle right so there was decent separation & without the stalk being too dominant or the clamp showing took some time, as did the positioning of, & manual settings for, the flash. Once everything was as sorted as I could get it, the actual focus-stacking was relatively straightforward! Still not 100% happy with the light balance - used a reflector underneath to help illuminate the darker flower head. Haven't done any localised adjustments in Lightroom as the aim was to get the lighting sorted physically. The background was something I shot & printed some time ago.
