Bike Mechanic Extraordinaire

Maybe that should be 'Extraordinary Bike Mechanic'!
It's been a really nice day apart from the strong wind, and a little bit of rain but if you blinked you would have missed it.
Hetty and Bella wanted to go to the park and wanted to take the bikes we have here. One is Ruby's and the other was Hendrix's when he was only 3 years old. The girls bikes are over in Suffolk of course.
Problem was that they both had stabilisers on, the twins are big girls now and wouldn't be seen dead riding with them on so we decided to remove them
When Harriet saw me using a ratchet spanner she asked if she could do it. I said of course she could, I'd never discourage a child from helping unless it was very dangerous.
She was so pleased when she managed to do it all the way to the nut falling off.
Did the other bike, raised the seat, as it was very low, and we managed to get to the park with both girls riding. Difficult for Isabella though as I hadn't raised the handlebars, we did that when we got back.
