Shrikes at last!
I have been wondering where they were hiding and today I saw four of them. At least one was a juvenile. This is a red backed shrike, common to Europe but not the UK. He's in a normal position, on top of a tree. They eat flies and probably bees too. I had a few other decent shots but I've been intending to post one of these for ages.
Otherwise a bit of a crappy day. That's so often the case with Mondays.
