Port Meadow

We had a truly wonderful weekend meeting up with a variety of friends from university days. Four families camped (or, rather, "glamped" - we had yurts!), two further families met up with us for lunch and a wander on Port Meadow on the Saturday, and an additional two families came along for a day out at Cotswold Wildlife Park on Sunday.

It's nearly 16 years since we all started university. It's great to still be in touch with so many old friends, even if only on an annual basis. It was a little bit of a shame that we never ever made it back into Oxford "proper", but Port Meadow was a lovely place for a stroll after a very long pub lunch.

The little Gs were in their element, particularly with all the wildlife on display. They were fascinated by the size of the swans' feet.
