Uh oh!

That doesn’t look good!

It turns out the book returns machine was extra busy overnight and somehow a book had got trapped under one of the belts. It seems to have stripped some of its surface away but thankfully it is still working.

I wonder if the book in the extra was the culprit!  We hate books being returned still adorned with page markers - but at least these are cute.  Easy for me to say as I am not the poor shelver that had to de-cat it!
